The Admis­sion Com­mis­sion com­pris­es mem­bers of the CIUTI Board plus one or two exter­nal experts. With­in the appli­ca­tion pro­ce­dure for CIUTI mem­ber­ship, the Admis­sion Com­mis­sion screens and assess­es the appli­cants’ Self-Assess­ment Reports (SAR). If the SAR war­rants fur­ther con­sid­er­a­tion of the mem­ber­ship appli­ca­tion, the Admis­sion Com­mis­sion sends two CIUTI experts to the can­di­date insti­tute for an on-site eval­u­a­tion of the teach­ing and research facil­i­ties. On the basis of the SARs and the experts’ reports, the Admis­sion Com­mis­sion will arrive at an opin­ion and will present a rec­om­men­da­tion for admis­sion or non-admis­sion to the Gen­er­al Assembly.
